Time to Share.
Thoughts come and go, evolving and revolving. When I began writing this blog, I thought I would write only about the ins and outs of dealing with breast cancer treatment. I thought I would direct others to places I received help and healing, and others would benefit from my story. While that is still true, I also find this a way to share my struggles, my joys, and my progress through life with others.
So that’s what is up for me now.
I currently am 4.5 years beyond completing active treatment; I continue on Letrazole with a plan for ten years. Side effects are manageable with yoga, walking, medications, garments, and art therapy. I am exploring many ways of self expression with fiber arts: weaving, shibori, sashiko, felting, collage…. maybe more!
Now I have an excess of handwoven goods— hand towels and scarves— my drawers are overflowing! I’ll need to find more ways to share them. I have gifted and donated for causes I believe in. That will continue, but perhaps it’s time to sell some as well.
Handwoven cotton kitchen towels.
Time will tell.
