I love to create.
When I was little, I took art classes at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. Pastel drawing and pottery are the two I remember most.
When I retired from medicine, I played with clay, creating bowls, plates, platters and even casserole dishes. I loved helping “birth” something new from clay.
When breast cancer changed my body and created chronic pain, I changed directions turning to yarn and weaving as my creative outlet. I find something new every day as I research color and weave structure interactions.
Really, Making art can be anything that uses imagination — could be music, photography, graphic design, writing… tangible or not. I dabble in many.
Eventually I need to share what I make with others. I hope you enjoy.
