What a country, what a world.

We only have one Earth.

I don’t see myself as a political person, yet, in fact, I am. With all the changes and drama our country has seen this year, I cannot avoid taking some sort of stance. I believe strongly that we are here on this earth to connect in positive ways with others and ourselves.

What action can I take without danger to myself? When there are demonstrations, which in fact do happen weekly in my community, I can be there when there is respite from the heat. I can write postcards, I can make phone calls to representatives, I can donate money.

I will so I can remain hopeful for our country’s and world’s future.
